• Finlaysons - they sell timber, heritage bits and pieces, joinery, doors and much more. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. They explained to us how to use standard timber sizes for our non-standard carpentry requirements and saved us lots of money!
• Brass Bar (East Brisbane, 0418 738 794) - Queensland heritage real estate poster reproductions. Perfect housewarming gifts!
• Alex Mackay and Co (Cnr Jephson St and Sherwood Rd Toowong, 07 3371 5422) - conveyancing solicitors - don't buy property without them!
• Bradnam's Windows and Doors - they installed sliding mirror doors on a couple of built-in cupboards for us, and endured us changing the installation date 5 times!! Thank you.
• Swallow Fashions (Travel House Level 1, 243 Edward St Brisbane, 07 3229 3601) - perfect clothing alterations, on time and great value for money. They made my off-the-rack suits look tailored.
